Right, so I just got back from a mini-vacation sans internet access and while catching up on my flist, I discovered that buffyaddict13 tagged me to fill out an 8 random things about me meme. So belatedly onward!

1. I am a Starbucks addict. While I was in Seattle, the highlight of my trip was visiting the first Starbucks store (est. 1912!!). I even collect Starbucks bears - I got two in Seattle, one is a Seattle bear they only sell there and one is a first Starbucks store bear that the only sell in that store. SQUEEE!

2. I am an introvert - meaning that being around people requires energy and I need time alone to recharge. Note, however, this is not the same as shy or antisocial!

3. I love J.R.R. Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings. I even taught myself Sindarin (one of the Elven languages because yes, there are more than one.)

4. I could live off of Crispix and Perrier - sometimes, when I'm too busy to go grocery shopping, I do. XD

5. I'll be starting medical school in August. *grins* Woohoo! This is something I've been working for since kindergarten. ^_^

6. I absolutely adore my sister, but sometimes I don't understand how we come from the same gene pool. My dad calls me the older younger sister - technically I'm the younger and she's the older but she and I often seem the opposite. I can be very protective of her, I worry about her, and I'm a sap for her puppy eyes.

7. I love to dance - especially swing dancing. I've mostly done East Coast Swing, but I'm hoping to add Lindy Hop to my repertoire.

8. I hate the sun - it's hot, it glares in my eyes, it brings out the bugs, and it gives me sunburn. Give me cool rainy days and clouds over sunny days anytime.

Question to my flist.

A little while back, I had this fic idea to trap Sam in this perfect alternate dream world. Sound familiar? Once I heard about What Is and What Should Never Be, I put it on hold until I'd seen the episode. So now I find myself wondering if anyone would be interested in a Sam version of the premise of last night's episode? A little different - the dream I had planned was a bit more immersive and not created by a Djinn - but pretty similar.

Thoughts? I'd be much obliged to hear what people think.
